One of them was wrapping a couple of pears in fiber or organza bags and tie with gold ribbons together with labels with the words "A Perfect Pair" printed together with the bride's and groom's names, plus the wedding date. You can rope in your friends and family for this project. You can get boxes of pears from the wholesalers that dotted around wholesale markets like those we frequent in Selayang or Seri Kembangan. Send your guests home with baskets of scones and strawberries to enjoy the morning after. Just wrapped scones in cellophane paper and place them inside a basket together with some strawberries. Finish up with a tag and some ribbons, voila! You can order your scones from bakeries but we liked those from Cold Storage bakery, pretty economical as well to balance out the pricey strawberries.
